Abstract

The article presents the case study of a 6-year-old boy presented with a large hairless area on the scalp present since birth. There was no history of seizures, delay in developmental milestones, or visual or auditory complaints. Two-thirds of the patch comprised of an elevated smooth surfaced boggy swelling and the remaining area had atrophic wrinkled skin with underlying skull defect and visible pulsations. A clinical diagnosis of nevus psiloliparus with aplasia cutis congenita was given.
