Abstract
- The article examines the slow progress of vote counting following the November 6, 2018 midterm elections in the U.S. It discusses claims of election fraud in the state of Florida made by several Republicans, including governor Rick Scott and President Donald Trump. According to Edward Foley, director of the election-law program at the Ohio State University's Moritz College of Law, ballot counting has become longer due to reforms enacted after Florida's recount in the 2000 presidential election.
