Abstract
- Highlights • A new sampling scheme for synchronization of switched nonlinear systems is proposed. • A master-slave synchronization method for switched nonlinear systems using output sampling feedback control is developed. • The synchronizing controller can be designed by solving a set of linear matrix inequalities. Abstract This paper addresses the master-slave synchronization problem for a class of continuous-time switched nonlinear systems. The sampled-data of system output and mode is utilized to design the quantized synchronizing controller. Based on the input delay approach, the synchronization error system is modeled as a switched system with state delay and asynchronously switching signal, which generated by merging the original switching signal with its sampled data. Then by constructing an appropriate Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional, a new sufficient synchronization condition and synchronizing controller design approach for the considered switched systems are obtained. One example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed synchronization scheme. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
