This Is How the Paper Crumples.

The article discusses the dynamics of crumpling based on research conducted by some scientists. Physicist Omer Gottesman had studied the dynamics of crumpling while working on his doctoral thesis at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. French physicists Martine Ben Amar and Yves Pomeau introduced the atom of paper crumpling they called the d-cone. Gottesman has eventually conducted a study on a state variable for crumpled thin sheets.
