Taking as a starting point the recognition of the general duty of information within the framework of the Consumer Law, this article examines the state of the question of the duty to inform suppliers about consumer protection, addressing a broad spectrum of economic sectors that covers from the sphere of products that have a more or less restricted character, until reaching the sectors characterized by free access to goods and services, investigation emphasized in the normative recognition, the obligated subjects and the reasons that justify the duty to inform.
