Abstract

the passion fruit culture has great economic and social importance for Brazil, occupying the position of largest producer in the world. The present work had the objective of evaluating the effectiveness of different products in the production and quality of passion fruit fruits products in the area with incidence Phytophthora sp. The evaluated parameters were production and physical-chemical analyzes of the fruits and the presence of the pathogens in the area after the treatment. It was used the application of eight treatments in the field containing eight plants arranged in randomized blocks, where twenty fruits were harvested per treatment. After the last application of the tested products, the pathogen isolation was carried out, using three different methodologies, observing the pathogen incidence. Through the physical-chemical analysis, no significant differences were observed between treatments in the field. It is concluded that, none of the products tested for the control of Phytophthora sp. obtained significant results, evidencing the presence of Phytophthora sp. The environmental problems of the products should be taken into account and their effect over time, therefore, it is necessary to study the behavior of the fungus in response to the products tested.
