On the generalized Lyapunov–Schmidt reduction.

The generalized Lyapunov-Schmidt reduction is thoroughly investigated in this paper. Some new and known properties of the reduction are presented transparently. Among others we obtain two main results, an alternative proof of the equivalence of the generalized reduction and an approximation relation between the generalized Lyapunov-Schmidt reduction and the center manifold reduction.
