Abstract
- An editorial is presented which compares the outcomes of percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) versus coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) in both multivessel coronary artery disease (CAD) and unprotected left main disease (LMD) in the era of drug eluting stents (DES). It reveals the lack of distinction between periprocedural and nonperiprocedural events in the per protocol definition of myocardial infarction (MI) and stroke. The vascular access used in the PCI group is also tackled.
