Abstract
- The article examines apparent accounting fraud conducted by the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) designed to misled Congress and increase the department's budget regardless of military necessity. It cites investigations conducted by the periodical which found $21 trillion worth of financial transactions that cannot be accounted for.
