Abstract
- The article focuses on the preventive conservation by controlling damage and deterioration to diminish daily stresses. It discusses the case study on preservation of collections in the internal environment of the historic building located in Forbidden City, Beijing in China, the preservation project was supported from help by the The Palace Museum and The World Monuments Fund and the environmental conditions like relative humidity and air and variable seasonal temperature. It also talks about using microclimate control for improving the indoor quality in the museum exhibition environment.
