Abstract

The calculation of elastic stresses generated by an acoustic wave in a plane layer is performed with the aid of the transfer matrix method. The elastic stress transfer matrix is found by the method of polynomials of principal minors. The components of the stress tensor of the crystal layer under conditions of six-beam diffraction of elastic waves are calculated. Conditions for the resonance of acoustic stresses are considered.
