Abstract
- The article offers information on the Mississippian flint arrow points that were useful in hunting wild game and beneficial in battle with enemies. It mentions that John H. Retherford accumulated these 14 exquisite triangular points in the 1980s. It states that southeastern ancient native grave sites have revealed a number of arrow points found in such a position as to suggest they were originally arrow points included in a leather quiver at time of burial, hence called “Quiver Points.”.
