Abstract
- Abstract Regioselective hydroxysulfenylation of unactivated C C double bonds was reported. Using FeBr 3 -bpy as the catalyst, Na 2 S 2 O 8 as the oxidant, and sulfonyl hydrazides as the sulfenyl sources, hydroxysulfenylation of unfunctionalized olefins proceeded readily, giving a variety of β-hydroxysulfides in moderate to good isolated yields.
