Abstract: Flavin‐containing monooxygenase 1 (FMO1) largely remains to be characterized in cynomolgus macaque kidney. Immunoblotting showed expression of cynomolgus FMO1 in kidneys where activities of FMO1 (benzydamine N‐oxygenation) were detected. No sex differences were observed in their contents or activities. These results suggest the functional role of cynomolgus FMO1 in kidney. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
