Abstract

Problem of fuzzy transportation efforts to lessen price of transportation of wares all the way through an enable capacitate system. In this article, a new approach using hexagonal fuzzy numbers in transportation problem with fuzzy environment is discussed. In the projected algorithm transportation price, accessibility and demand of the merchandise are signified by hexagonal fuzzy numbers. The main aim of this paper is to introduce a new method for solving hexagonal fuzzy transportation problem (FTP) on the basis of ranking method of fuzzy numbers (FNs). The proposed method is demonstrated with a numerical example and compared with existing method in literature and it is found in good compliance. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
