Křídelnice krétská (Pteris cretica) - nová nepůvodní kapradina v České republice.

The paper provides information about a finding of a remote population of the Pteris cretica fern which occurs mainly in subtropical regions of the World. The species was discovered in 2016 in an old well of the Letovice Castle (W Moravia, Czech Republic). Since this fern has never been recorded in the Czech Republic before, it is the first record for the national flora. Only a single specimen was discovered growing in the gap in the lining of the well, at a depth ca 3 m. The plant probably belongs to the var. albolineata which is often cultivated as a houseplant; this is a probable source of spores, and an explanation for this new occurrence. Since this taxon was recorded in similar habitats in Germany and Belgium, details related to this new occurrence can be compared. Several other fern species were observed in the well including the critically endangered Asplenium scolopendrium. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
