Abstract: We have proposed a novel asymmetric X-junction, called the truncated-structural X-branch (TSXB), which quadruples the full-branching angle (0.3–1.2°) compared to a conventional junction at -17 dB crosstalk and 75% power transmission to the “straight” port. ©1999 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
