O cinema queer na subjetivação dos corpos: repensando gênero e sexualidade na educação escolar.

This study aims to prompt reflections about the educational potential of queer cinema in the ambit of school education. With the assistance of audiovisual narratives that address gender, sexuality, race, ethnic, and classrelated issues from a non-identitary perspective, we show how cinema could serve as a powerful instrument for the construction of free, plural subjects. Starting out from the idea that the body is not something natural, but something that is constructed through discourse, we believe that the language of film, drawing on a “pedagogy of the sensations," could bring about the denaturalization of bodies and the affirmation of differences.
