Abstract

The aim of this paper is to analyse the way in which children who are part of the NAT's (Working Children and Teenagers in English) movement are organised from research which began in the year 2012 and it is still ongoing. It is also my intencion to show how political subjects performing active citizenship are built (Yuval Davis, 1997), which implies recognizing their rights, their participation and a way to make these effective, besides an inclusive citizenship (Catep, 2000) aiming at the participation of every social group, including subordinates or those like the working children who are located in the margins. The focus of the research carried out in order to acknowledge the reality of children and teenagers who belong to the NAT's movements has been ethnographic, the main reseach techniques for the collection of information being those of participating observation and open interviews.
