Abstract

PTB7‐Th as a donor–acceptor type photoelectric material has been widely applied as a photoelectrochemical biosensor. Despite efforts to improve the photoelectric conversion efficiency (PCE) of PTB7‐Th, the photogenerated signal of PTB7‐Th was limited owing to the complex and time‐consuming preparation procedure of sensitizers. In this work, the proposed strategy provided a simple and efficient method to improve the PCE of PTB7‐Th by numerously and simultaneously immobilizing two types of sensitizers on the surface of photoactive material assisted with DNA nanoflowers (NFs), which is expected to significantly increase the PCE of the PTB7‐Th and enhance the photogenerated signal.
