Abstract
- The article discusses the use of first-person graphic memoirs in U.S. classrooms in order to enhance the teaching of history including the graphic memoirs "Darkness: A Memoir in Black and White" by Lila Quintero Weaver, "A Fire Story" by Brian Fies, and "Poppies of Iraq" by Brigitte Findakly.
