Abstract
- The article discusses the consequences of repeated concussions from high impact sports such as football, soccer, hockey, wrestling,rugby, and lacrosse, particularly concussion among high school girls. Topics discussed include the association between downhill skiing, martial arts, horse riding, and parachuting and traumatic brain injury (TBI), a study by National Football League (NFL) on brain damage among football players, and development of chronic traumatic encephalopathy.
