- The article reports on the results of the mid-1980s oil exploration in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR) in northeast Alaska, as well as the plan by the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump to sell drilling leases in the site as of April 2019. Topics include comments by retired Standard Oil of Ohio lawyer Sidney B. Silverman and BP executive David Jenkins on the Arctic test well and various lawsuits filed against the BP-Standard Oil acquisition deal.
