Abstract

A separate-type two-dimensional 8 × 3 folded-slot array antenna was fabricated using photolithography and wet etching, and the receiving properties for 94-GHz millimeter wave radiation were investigated theoretically and experimentally in order to improve the receiving gain of a separate-type slot antenna. The fabricated folded-slot array antenna had a power gain of 12.5 dBi which was 10.5 dB larger than the single slot antenna at 94 GHz.
