Abstract

The article focuses on the higher prevalence of ocular surface disease (OSD), which can result in the recurrent corneal erosions (RCE). It discusses how the diagnosis has to be correct for RCE as it is also necessary to identify underlying conditions like epithelial basement membrane dystrophy (EBMD) and dry eye disease (DED).
