The purpose of this study is to represent and discredit the political actors and systems in Latin America throughout the international news in the on-line versions of Tagesschau, Süddeutsche Zeitung and Spiegel during 2016. The authors depict how stereotyped attributions and negative images are produced when introducing Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, Colombia and Venezuela.
