U.S. open ballperson tryouts.

The U.S. Open will hold tryouts for ballpersons at the USTA National Tennis Center in Queens. The USTA employs about 10,000 people for the annual event that is seen around the world. Tryouts are for those of 14 years of age and older. However, those of 18 years of age and under must present valid New York State working papers. The U.S. Open is the only Grand Slam event that pays ballpersons.
