Normal births in Wales: Realising the Potential.

At the moment in Wales there is a gradual sense of optimism and a renewed passion for the art of midwifery. This can, in part, be attributed to a sense of ownership and the clear direction provided by the publication of a midwifery briefing paper (Welsh Assembly Government, WAG, 2002).
