In the anniversary year 2017 (150 years since the establishment of the Romanian Academy) the third part of the Volume V of the Romanian Periodical Publications was published, a result of over 100 years of research and synthesis of bibliographers from the Romanian Academy Library. Volume I, dedicated to periodicals from 1820 to 1906, coordinated by Nerva Hodoș and Al. Sadi- Ionescu, appeared in 1913; volume II (1907-1918), coordinated by George Baiculescu, Georgeta Răduică and Neonila Onofrei -- in 1969; volume III (1919-1924), coordinated by Ileana Stanca Desa, Dulciu Morărescu, Ioana Patriche, Adriana Raliade and Iliana Sulică -- in 1987; volume IV (1925-1930), coordinated by Ileana Stanca Desa, Dulciu Morărescu, Ioana Patriche, Cornelia Luminița Radu, Adriana Raliade and Iliana Sulică -- in 2003. Given the large number of periodicals published between 1931-1935, the volume V, coordinated by Ileana Stanca Desa and Luminița Radu, appeared in three parts, alphabetically organized. The launch of the volume took place at the Academy Library, on 20 December 2017, an event attended by librarians, academicians, literates and editors. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
