Abstract

cobalt(A novel three dimensional (3D) polymer, [Co2(hypa)2(4,4<f>′</f>-bipy)] (1) (H2hypa = hydroxy-phenyl-acetic acid, 4,4<f>′</f>-bipy = 4,4<f>′</f>-bipyridine), featuring pentacoordinate, dimeric cobalt(II) as subunits have been prepared, which shows low-dimensional antiferromagnetic ordering blow 15.2 K (<f>TN</f>).
