Abstract
- An interview with American author and the founder of the Donald Maass Literary Agency (DMLA) is presented. When asked about his agency's querying process, he refers to reading and responding to queries. He expresses the view that agents at DMLA find clients through referrals, short stories, and general buzz. He comments on the importance of author platform is a means to raise awareness and a way to spread a massage.
