Frozen Permeability Method for Magnetic Field Analysis of Permanent Magnet Motors Considering Hysteretic Property.

This paper proposes a frozen permeability method for magnetic field analyses considering hysteretic property. In the proposed method, the effect of magnetic hysteresis is regarded as a reaction field in a broad sense with respect to the corresponding normal magnetization curve. To verify the effectiveness of the proposed method, the numerical results of torque separation in a hysteretic magnetic field analysis of an interior magnet synchronous motor with concentrated winding are discussed.
