Abstract

The article discusses the parallelisms between pectoral and pelvic network-anatomy from fish fins to Tetrapod limbs from a evolutionary perspective. Topics discussed include limbs having transformed from lobe-fins during the Devonian period, which helped water-to-land transition in tetrapods, and the fins to limbs evolution being considered one of the most important vertebrate morphological and functional transitions.
