Abstract
- The article explains some of the technology behind why virtual emulation is the only way to be updated with the speeds and capacities of Ethernet designs. Topics covered include limitations of in-circuit emulation (ICE), comparison between the ICE setup and an equivalent one using a virtual approach, and the parallel runtime architecture of VirtuaLAB Ethernet application.
