Abstract

The article offers information on the mindfulness based interventions (MBIs) now common practice with children, ranging from universal programs in educational settings to more targeted clinical approaches. Topics discussed include information on the mindfulness interventions benefit children’s learning via reducing difficulties related to attention and selfregulation in the classroom; and the proposed conceptual framework of mindfulness.
