Abstract
- A study which analyzed the clinicopathological characteristics and prognosis of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) patients with extremely high preoperative alpha-fetoprotein (EH-AFP) who underwent hepatectomy, is presented. Topics covered include overall survival (OS) rate of HCC patients after R0-resection and non-R0 resection, OS and disease free survival (DFS) rates in the EH-AFP group and the characteristics of patients with EH-AFP level such as vascular invasion and satellite nodules.
