Abstract

The article presents a case study of a 38-year-old woman with stage IV clear cell carcinoma of renal origin, presenting at diagnosis with multiple retroperitoneal lymph node involvement and metastases to liver and bones, started on sunitinib. It discusses the diagnosis of nonthrombocytopenic, noninflammatory simplex purpura during sunitinib therapy.
