Abstract
- The article examines the us-against-them strategy of U.S. President Donald Trump in his tweet against four Democratic congresswomen of color known as "the squad." Topics covered include how Trump's assumption that the congresswomen were born abroad fits his agenda of widening the gap between whites and people of color, history of Trump's racism, racial politics of past U.S. presidents, and how Trump is employing the strategy for his re-election bid in the 2020 presidential election.
