Abstract
- The authors of the article "SET alpha and SET beta mRNA isoforms in chronic lymphocytic leukaemia" respond to comments on it in 2019. They cite their demonstration of the correlation of SETA:SETB mRNA isoform ratios with clinical aggressiveness of the leukaemia, which transcriptionally regulates SET isoform expression that can modulate its levels and eventually inhibit PP2A activity and influence CLL patient outcomes. Also noted is the need for further investigation on the findings.
