Abstract
- The article discusses the U.S. Supreme Court case County of Los Angeles v. Mendez, in which police officers entered into a shed occupied by Angel Mendez and Jennifer Garcia without a search warrant, in violating the Fourth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. Topics discussed include the Fourth Amendment ensuring an individual's right to privacy, the Provocation Rule holding the police officer liable for any injury caused by use of force, and the Supreme Court's proximate cause analysis.
