Abstract

Molybdenum (MoA) and phosphorus (PA) supports for NiMo sulfide catalysts in the process of hydrodeoxygenation of sunflower oil at the temperature of 380 °C, pressure of 4.0 MPa and weight hourly space velocity of 1 h-1 were studied. Phosphorus modification reduces the support specific surface area and pore volume. Lower liquid yield is observed for PA systems compared to MoA ones due to the decarbonylation/decarboxylation reactions over these catalysts and hydrocarbons formation with an odd number of carbon atoms in the chain.
