La Venus de las pieles (El masoquismo).

Through the analysis of Polansky's film Venus in Furs (2013), a dramatisation of the Sacher-Masoch's homonym work as a play adaptation, we intend to investigate the masculine fantasy that governs the masochist scenario. We will start with Deleuze's idea which disavows the common conception of the masochism as the mere inversion or role exchange between master and slave of the sadist position. We will conclude confirming the convenience of differentiatingwithin the common perverse structure the masochist from the sadist scenario, throwing some light on the position achieved in it by the female character as mistress, before whom supposedly the masochist postrates.
