Abstract

However, no consensus has yet been reached concerning the actual benefit of autologous stem cell transplantation (ASCT) in hepatitis B virus (HBV)- and/or hepatitis C virus (HCV)-positive patients, and data on patients with HBV and/or HCV infection following ASCT are very limited. HBV, hepatitis B virus infection; HCV, hepatitis C virus infections. gl In the subgroup analysis of HBV- or HCV-positive groups, histological types were not identified as independent prognostic factors; on the other hand, T-cell lymphoma patients without HBV and HCV infection showed worse survival (Fig S1).
