Abstract

The article discusses propositions of the Christian universalism and the nation. The first proposition describes Church as the agent of Christian universalism, by arguing that Christianity opposes any political project that pretends to a universal mission or dominion. According to the second proposition, fusing church with nation is not right, as America is a nation, not a church. Another proposition states that the Bible treats the nation as a fundamental element of the divine plan.
