- The article highlights the representation of love-song performance on the commercial stage. It mentions the reference of play like 'Twelfth Night' that describe as a love-song; 'The Knight of the Burning Pestle' by Francis Beaumont that perform with voices, musical convention and playhouse affect; different version of the song in John Fletcher's 'The Captain'.
