Abstract
- Deals with the importance of angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors to the survival of patients with heart disease. Information on the scheme of evidence levels of extrapolating drug effects proposed by McAlister and colleagues; Result of a study by Pilote and colleagues on comparing the effectiveness of different ACE inhibitors in reducing mortality in elderly survivors of myocardial infarction; Source of potential bias in the findings on ACE.
