Abstract: A biography of fisheries research biologist Jean Richard Dunn, who was born on June 27, 1934, and attended local California schools, earned a B.S. in fisheries from Oregon State University. Jean joined the Age Analysis Unit of the Seattle Biological Laboratory of the Bureau of Commercial Fisheries in 1962. He received National Marine Fisheries Service Special Achievement Awards in 1968, 1974, 1976, and 1980, and a Sustained Superior Performance Award in 1982.
