Abstract
- The author discusses the significant role of natural gas in achieving the net-zero carbon dioxide emissions goal of Great Britain. Topics explored include the recommendations outlined in the May 2019 net-zero report published by the British Committee on Climate Change (CCC), the intention of Great Britain to end usage of fossil fuels by 2050, and the flow testing of the horizontal shale gas exploration well in the region by shale exploration operator Cuadrilla.
