Deferasirox: Gastrointestinal symptoms and skin reaction: 2 case reports.

Abstract
- In a multicentre study from the Rete Ematologica Lombarda (IRON-M study) involving 45 patients, two patients [ I ages and sexes not stated i ] were described, who developed gastrointestinal symptoms (1 patient) and skin reaction (1 patient) during iron chelation therapy with deferasirox. The patients, who had myelofibrosis with transfusion-dependent anaemia, had been receiving iron chelation therapy with deferasirox [Exjade] dispersible tablets for oral suspension [ I dosages not stated i ] since 2010. Subsequently, one patient developed grade 3 gastrointestinal symptoms and another patient developed grade 1-2 skin reaction [ I durations of treatments to reactions onsets and outcomes not stated i ].
