Abstract

We have fabricated chain-like NiCo2O4 nanowires via a facile and environmentally friendly hydrothermal method and followed by calcined in air ambient. In this work, the in-situ electrical properties of the individual chain-like NiCo2O4 nano wires were performed by STM-TEM holder in order to further study the relationship between the microstructure and electrical properties of individual chain-like NiCo2O4 nano wire. The results show that the nanostructure of the NiCo2O4 nanowire gradually changes from chain-like to single -crystalline nanowire with improved electrical properties under 5 V voltage as a result of the electron transfer process of single crystal nanowires will not be blocked.
